HOA stands for Homeowners Association. HOA's include a governing body and/or set of rules and regulations that owners agree to adhere to. HOA's can include a monthly or annual fee.
Living in the mountains means fluctuating and often extreme weather conditions from one season to the next. The roads in our area require regular maintenance. County roads are maintained by the county and private roads and drives are maintained by the owner.
That's a good question and the answer is different from year to year. Winters can be extremely cold and provide several feet of snow, we can also experience mild winters with less precipitation. It's a hit or miss.
